2. Tesco’s Chelsea Buns

There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with refrigerating these, actually, it just makes them kind of stiff and desperately unrewarding. They are, it is fair to say, sticky little Umagas, but not much beyond that. Texture is lacking. You just get walls of floury druff, and when you stick them in the fridge all the softness and moisture goes. The hoped-for sweetness becomes a kind of stickiness, so essentially you get a sock with some raisins in the toe that’s been dipped in resin. It’s a disappointment.

More when I next refrigerate something that’s a bit rubbish.

Sorry I’ve not posted in a couple weeks – things are getting on top of me a bit. I really, really wanna write a big ol’ post about something – anything – on here, but there’s too much other stuff that is more bloody important that I have to do instead, and it’s naffing me right off. Grr. EMO WILL.
